The final race of the 2018 season for the Junior High Cross Country Program has ended.

Over 120 runners competed as the Foxes won for the boys and the Hounds won for the girls.

In the boys race:

For the 4th week in a row, 8th grader Nathan Reish finished first with a time of 9:11 to tie the course record and earn MVP honors for the season.

Rounding out the top 10 in order were:

Ryan Foglio

Michael Bozena

Zachary Brinker

Jacob Lukaszewski

Bryan Lechene

Alex Foreman

Jake Brown

 

In the girls race:

8th grader Paraskevi Briegel also won her 4th race in a row with a time of 11:19 earning her the girls’ MVP honors for the season.

Rounding out the top 10 in order were:

Izabela Nawalaniec

Giavanna Maioriello

Nalani Valdez

Allison Levitt

Rachel Traub

Stephanie Zaso

Dana Persaud

Allison Nieto

Averie Allbaugh

 

The Rookie of the Year award for the girls went to Izabela Nawalaniec for being the top 7th grade girl finisher in all four races.  For the boys, the award went to Andre Reames who was the top 7th grade boy finisher in three out of the four races.

The Coach’s Award went to 8th grader Stephanie Zaso for the girls and Jack Francis for the boys.
