What motivates you to come to school?
My biggest motivation will always be the life I live. I plan to live an eventful life, exploring the world, and meeting new people. I find it very important to know that life does not always go as planned, but I always want my knowledge and education to be reliable.
Who are your favorite teachers and why?
I would say some of my favorite teachers in SHS would be Ms. Laskowski and Ms. Apollo. Ms. Laskowski always goes out of her way to make sure students are understanding the material in class, way beyond grades just going into a gradebook. Ms. Apollo also goes beyond the gradebook, and really does focus on improving the character of her students.
What is your goal for this year?
My biggest goal this year is maintaining self-discipline. Being fully remote leaves a few gaps in learning, so it is really up to me to make sure I am getting all the information I need, and all my work done.
What is something that you have learned in your childhood that has stuck with you?
Not forgiving someone only affects you. Read it again.
What movie can you watch over and over without ever getting tired of?
The Blind Side.
What’s something people don’t worry about but really should?
The thoughts of others. It really does surprise me how close-minded people can be, and honestly, I can sometimes be guilty of it, but putting yourself in other’s perspectives can impact your thought process. It’s a lot harder than it seems but it could have a really positive effect on your character and how you love and treat others.
Is water wet?
No. That’s the answer. It is not.
If you could have a superpower, what would it be?
I would definitely choose a lie-detecting ability. Lying is one of my biggest pet peeves, and the world would probably be a lot different without it.
What profession doesn’t get enough credit or respect?
It’s probably cliche, but I would definitely say teachers. Those who do their job with love and care of course. Depending on how hard a teacher works, they could possibly be shaping the future leaders of the nation.
What is your life motto?
Everything is going to be okay.
