SHSs musical will unleash the Music Man in you

Woody Battle, Staff Writer

This year, the Stroudsburg music department is presenting Meredith Wilson’s The Music Man to the public. It is a love story and comedy about a con artist put to the test by a stubborn Iowa town called River City. Since November, Ms. Lee, Ms. Rogers and over a hundred students and community members worked together to create another magical theater experience for Stroudsburg and its musical theater lovers. The show sneaks its way into Stroudsburg’s auditorium on April 17 at 7:30, with encore shows on the 18th at 7:30 and 19th at 2:00. Tickets can be purchased in the main office during school hours and outside of the auditorium after school any day during the week, also at the door of each show at $12 for adults, $10 for senior citizens, and $8 for students. Trust us, once you see this performance, you won’t feel that you have been conned.
