What motivates you to come to school?

What motivates me to come to school is to see all my friends and to participate in the fun activities, like the slap bracelet game going on (clue).

Do you think there should be mandatory classes? Or should students be able to pick any classes they want?

I believe students should be able to pick their own classes, because some subjects we won’t need for our future or the path we think we are going to take. But we should also take at least mandatory classes, like math and science because they are used more than any other subject.

Should there be a dress code? If so, why? If not, why not?

I strongly believe there shouldn’t be a dress code. It is a waste of parents’ money, especially if your family does not have a lot of money and is already struggling. I think students should be able to show who they truly are and not worry what others think about that because you were made to be you. If we can wear it outside of school, why can we not inside?

Who is one of your favorite teachers? Explain why.

One of my favorite teachers is definitely Mr. Smith, the history and psychology teacher. He always has a warm welcoming to class, then he discusses what we are going to be doing for the class period, asks us questions to really make us think, and makes everything super interesting! He would do anything for a student or teacher to help them out. I wish all teachers were this understanding.

What activities or hobbies do you enjoy outside of school?

The activities and hobbies I enjoy doing outside of school, are drag racing, hunting, and spending time with my family and friends. My whole family drag races and I enjoy deer hunting with my dad!

What is one of your goals for this year?

One of my goals this year is to just do my best, focus harder and work harder. I’ve had a rough start to my year, and I’m staying positive and doing my best to get my grades back to usual!

What is your biggest motivation?

My biggest motivation is doing fun activities with the class, because you get to experiment what you’re learning about, and also you don’t have to sit and write boring notes!

What are your plans after graduation?

My plans after graduation are to hopefully attend DeSales University to study to become a psychologist or some kind of counselor. I love to help people out and make people feel good about themselves.

Who do you consider a great role model?

I consider my mom to be a great role model. She always is making everyone laugh or smile, she is never negative about anything and always strives to do her best, no matter how hard the task is. She’s a fun person and would do anything for someone.

What is unique about your personality?

I think what’s unique about my personality is I am very caring towards anyone who needs me, even if I do not know them. For an example, I can be at a restaurant having dinner, and an old man comes and sits down alone, I love to go and sit with them and have a conversation with them. I’m sure it makes them feel good as much as it does for me!
