National Honor Society has run a successful can drive called ‘Can the Principal’ from Monday, December 11 through Tuesday, December 19.

They started this drive to collect canned goods that will be given to Pleasant Valley Ecumenica Network. The network serves food to people in Hamilton Township. NHS members and seniors Rachel Bucci, Brendan Zambrano, and Pierce O’Dowd picked up the canned goods first period every day and stacked them in principal Mr. Jeffrey Sodl’s office.

The outcome of this drive was astonishing with students bringing in the most cans Sodl has ever seen. Although there isn’t a winner announced yet, the winning first period class will win free hot chocolate and treats!
