SHS graduate (class of ’85) releases horror movie
March 20, 2018
B. Harrison Smith has recently released an original horror film, Death House. What makes this so special is that Harrison is an SHS alumni. He graduated in 1985 and was the president of his class.
Harrison was directly involved with writing and directing Death House. He has been passionate about movies and writing since his days at SHS, where he was a member of the Mountaineer newspaper staff.
The Sherman Theater recently hosted the release of Smith’s film. He was excited because it was his hometown.
“I loved being involved with the Stroudsburg High School newspaper and I loved Mr. Burnett. Nothing but fun things,” said Smith.
Smith has learned a lot through his filming and writing experiences. He offers up some useful advice for students beginning to write: “Write, don’t talk, keep writing and take criticism. Opinions are hard in the world now a days.”

This article is really good and even though it isn’t very detail I still enjoy this article by Kayliegh. I also enjoy this article because I am one of Kayliegh’s friend and i didn’t know she apart of the Mountaineer, and now i know that she likes to write and she is good at it.

It’s cool to know about the Alumni in this school play such a big role in a movie. I hope that everyone can be inspired by this to know that you can do anything if you put your mind to it.
