The Memory Project: Creating Portraits for a Kinder World
AP Art & Art 4 Hand Drawn Portraits for the Kids in Columbia
December 19, 2018
The Memory Project is a charitable organization that matches art students with less fortunate students in developing countries to create their portraits. Students were paired with 4-year-old pre-school students that have experienced war and extreme poverty from an area in the country of Columbia. After Stroudsburg High School student portraits were completed, they were sent to the Memory Project. Students of Ms. McKain’s AP Art and Art 4 came together to create these portraits.
