What motivates you to come to school?
Knowing if I don’t, I can possibly just end up another statistic.
Who are your favorite teachers and why?
Mrs. Davis, her energy and vibe is just contagious.
Who do you consider your biggest role model, and why?
My brother Warren, through thick and thin, he’s never folded on me. He believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself. That’s my motivation to keep going and striving to be better at everything I do.
What is your goal for this year?
I’m trying to get to a bag and get my diploma — you feel me. Me and my guy Justin trying to be out already.
What is the greatest experience you have ever had?
Meeting my right hand bubs. She’s always been here and I don’t see a life without her, through thick and thin she’s always held it down. The relationship we have is one of the best things I’ve ever experienced.
What is something that you have learned in your childhood that has stuck with you?
Don’t get in big white vans with strangers.
What is your greatest strength?
I take my losses and use them to fuel my fire, so in a way I can’t ever really lose.
If there is one thing you could change in the world, what would it be?
Definitely the poverty rates. I’ve been through some hard times and that’s not something I’d wish upon anybody.
What is your life motto?
Life is like a sandwich, no matter how you flip it, the bread always comes first.
What values are important to you?
Nowadays, nobody understands the meaning of loyalty. To me loyalty is everything, without it you really have nothing.
