Girls Tennis

The girls tennis team also has had great success this fall. The team was led by Paraskevi Briegel, 22’, Rachel Traub, 22’, and Olivia Waszkielewicz, 21’. Not only did the girls go undefeated, but also they did not drop a single court the entire season. This means that every single girl was undefeated individually as well as the team.

“Everyone supports each other all the time,” said Briegel. “The varsity went out to support the JV, and the JV would always support the varsity. We are all teammates, but more importantly friends that push each other to be the best team that we can be.”

Briegel won the District XI AAA Championship once again this season. This is the second year in a row that she has won the district championship. Briegel will continue competing in November in an attempt to win the PIAA State Championship, a feat that she fell short of last season.
