At which school do you teach?

I teach at Morey Elementary.

What grades do you teach?   

I currently teach 1st grade, but I also taught 2nd grade for many years.

What is the best lesson you have ever taught? 

I loved teaching the Ocean Unit in Second Grade.  I loved all of the hands-on projects and experiments we did to bring learning to life!

What’s your favorite part about teaching?

I love seeing the growth students make from the beginning of the year to the end of the year.

How long have you been teaching in the Stroudsburg Area School District? 

This is my 19th year teaching in the Stroudsburg School District.

Why do you enjoy teaching? 

It is hard to put into words all the reasons that I love being a teacher.  There are so many great things that happen in the classroom every day!  But I think the best thing about being a teacher is seeing the excited look on the students’ faces when they learn something new!

Where did you grow up? 

I grew up in East Stroudsburg.

What college did you attend? 

I attended Penn State University.
