What college do you plan on attending and why did you choose this college/university? If you chose another path for next year, what is it? Be specific. 

I will be attending Delaware Valley University this coming fall. I chose this school because of the crucial hands-on learning experiences, which is very important for my major. I also really appreciate the school’s small size and gorgeous campus. With the small class sizes, I know that I won’t just be another number in a lecture hall; I will be a student with extremely close relationships with my classmates and professors. Not to mention that the animals I will be working with for class are a three minute walk away from my dorm

What do you hope or plan to study when you attend your college/university? 

I will be majoring in Large Animal Science and minoring in Dairy Science

What is one goal you hope to achieve before graduating from SHS?

Before graduating I hope to finally relax and recognize how SHS is filled with some of the best people I’ve ever met. All the blood, sweat, and tears (definitely tears) of high school shaped me into the person I am today. And that person is ready to take on the next chapter

What do you look most forward to about next year?

I’m looking forward to finally being able to study what I want to study. I know that at DelVal I will meet so many people with similar interests and passions, and I know that every day will be a new adventure

Share one insight/thought for next year’s seniors.

A word of advice for next year’s seniors: do any and all scholarships. There’s a scholarship for literally everything. Keep your grades up, and be positive!
