and branded
handwritten reprimands

meander
on an island
landscaped with chandeliers
abandon handcuffs
standstills
and
backhands
notwithstanding
thousands of oleanders
and dandelions
handpicked
and
sandalwood
and mandrake
and random demands
the bystander
wanders
in
wonderland.
