The Mountaineer and the Pioneer are teaming up to host the SHS Fall Photo Contest/Showcase!

Now is the time to enjoy the wonderful and unique autumn that the Poconos has to offer. This is where you come in. We want to feature your work.

You can view all the photo submitted thus far at the end of this story.

Get outside and start snapping your own original photos.  They can be of any scene/setting/etc., that captures your creativity during this time of year.. We encourage you to visit the local parks around Stroudsburg and capture their scenery.

Artistic Vision: Your photos are definitely not limited to colorful trees.  Perhaps your eye gravitates to a rusting fire escape, used tires in a creek, your pet snuffling in a mud puddle, etc.  You are the artist.  You decide what qualifies.

Before you enter your photo, make sure to check off these requirements:

• Your original fall-themed photo
• Your name, grade, and school I.D. number, and location of photograph
• No weird/fancy effects or filters (all nature-al photos only)
• You are allowed to submit 1 or 2 photos.
• Submit your photos through our SHS Fabulous Fall Photo Contest form.

FIVE entries will WIN A WAWA GIFT CARD, and will be featured in the 2022 Pioneer Yearbook and the Mountaineer newspaper.

The deadline for this contest is October 31, so be sure to get your submissions in ASAP, so they can be showcased in our gallery.
