Frida Kahlo: Famous painter and Hispanic Hero

Reaching a global audience through paintings might, at first, sound like a preposterous idea. However, for Frida Kahlo reaching global audiences took nothing more than painting her ideas. Even after many years since her death, her art continues to influence new generations of artists.

Frida Kahlo, a Mexican artist, has made a name for herself in the artistic community as well as internationally. Kahlo has painted a variety of subjects, namely her countless self-portraits. Each of these portraits has a different meaning with equally important purposes.

Kahlo’s paintings have been displayed in many famous museums, including the Museum of Modern Art.

Through her art, Kahlo illustrates many themes including spirituality, religion, and political ideals.

Some of Kahlo’s paintings are worth a lot of money. For example, The Two Fridas is worth upwards of eight million dollars.
