The annual College Fair is coming on Friday, November 4.

Seniors will attend second period, while juniors will get their chance third period.

There will be a total of 66 different groups. Sixty-one colleges will participate, as well as a few military groups and businesses.

The main purpose of the fair is to provide students with an opportunity to learn about as many options as possible after graduation.  Students will learn about a variety of different career paths available to them.

Guidance counselor Ms. Theresa Onody expressed the importance of having an open mind when attending the event.

“If you don’t start exploring now, how are you going to know what your future is?” Onody said.

Junior Nicole Munson is excited about attending the event.

” I want to learn more about other colleges and other opportunities out there,” said Munson. “It’s a good day to look around and learn more about your future.”

Starting in 9th grade, students begin to take courses that help them think about their futures.  The College Fair is a great way for seniors and juniors to explore even more.

For students who want to learn more about managing college costs, there will be a financial advisor available at the fair.

Another way students can try to help with their tuition is through scholarships.  The best way to find out what scholarships are available is to go to the Guidance Department’s Google Classroom. Seniors: y5sebmk, Juniors: 3bk7d2r, Sophomores: 6lihqc2, join your classes to get updates on what’s to come.
