Student Spotlight on Lydia Pastorelli

Eli Badillo, Staff Writer

What are your plans after graduation?

I plan to major in either political science or psychology at a college in Philidelphia or Easton and then transfer to law school and hopefully achieve my Master’s degree.

What qualities do you value in people?

Certain qualities that I value in people are empathy, kindness, and an understanding that everyone has differences and to learn and grow with people rather than leaving them behind.

What is your greatest accomplishment so far?

Academically, I believe that I have come a long way, and much farther than a majority of my family members. I’m going to be the first in my family to attend college and one of the first to hopefully earn a master’s degree too!

Is water wet?

Haha, nope I do not believe that water is wet. Water can make other objects wet, but no water itself cannot be wet in my opinion.

What values are important to you?

Honesty, understanding, and growing individually, and probably the very important value of mental health and educating others on it.

What profession doesn’t get enough credit or respect?

All restaurant workers (waiters/waitresses, and runners). None of them get enough credit and almost all of them are treated poorly.

What was your favorite class at SHS?

Forensic science has to be one of the best classes I´ve taken at SHS!
