This year, Stroudsburg High Schoolai??i??s music department presents the musicalAi??Thoroughly Modern Millie. The show tells the story of a young woman named Millie Dillmount from Kansas who moves to New York. She is looking to marry a man for money instead of love. And the plot thickens.
The show opens this Friday in the SHS auditorium! Dates are Friday, April 17 at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, April 18 at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, April 19, at 2:00 p.m.
Tickets can be purchased in the high school office during school hours. Ai??After school, tickets can be purchased outside the auditorium. Ai??Tickets can also be purchased at the door of each show.
The price is $12 for adults, $10 for senior citizens, and $8 for students.
You won’t want to miss this extravagant event! Hurry, tickets are selling out.

I have to say that this year’s musical was my most favorite so far!! I really think that the students and adults involved brought this production to it’s full potential and that the delivery to the audience during the shows was as top notch as I’ve seen ever! Kudos to EVERYONE involved from the stage to behind the scenes this team rocked Thoroughly Modern Millie!!!

With talent, dedication, and hours and hours of hard work, Thoroughly Modern Millie was a raving success!!!! I thought I was watching a Broadway Show!!!! The choreography, the costumes, the music, the singing, the acting, the set changing, the sets themselves, were absolutely awesome. Congratulations cast, crew, and pit orchestra you were outstanding!
