Eli Badillo, Staff Writer

What are your plans after graduation?

I will be attending Shippensburg University to study Mathematics and Secondary Education to become a math teacher, and I would like to coach Pole Vaulting wherever I teach at.

What movie could you never get tired of watching?

The Dark Knight because it has amazing acting, gets you invested in the movie, and is terrifically filmed.

What’s the funniest word in the English language?

I use mayhaps the most, but hornswoggled always gets a laugh out of me.

What is your goal for this year?

My goal is to go to States for Pole Vaulting.  I need to clear 14’3” in order to go and am working hard to get there.

What qualities do you value in people?

A sense of humor is a must for me, but I also look for genuine people.  Sometimes people act differently around different people, but I like people who can just be themselves.

If there is one thing you could change in the world, what would it be?

I would change how people are so unwilling to help others.  If we as a race could be nicer and more helpful toward each other, we would be so much better off and we wouldn’t have half as many problems in the world as we currently do.

What is your life motto?

Think all you want, but some things you just have to DO.

Which countries/places would you like to visit?

I want to visit Norway for its natural beauty and size.  Australia is also on the list.

What was your favorite class at SHS?

AP Physics, it really humbles you as a person but it is so much fun.

What is your greatest chance to weakness?

I get distracted very easily, so I lose track of what I’m supposed to be doing all the time.
