Community Day will be happening for the first time on May 7. It will be held at Stroudsburg High School from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Ai??During these three hours there will be various presentations by clubs and groups within the school and community. Anyone who wants to come is encouraged to show up and take part in this event.

ai???The community doesnai??i??t always see what goes onai??? said Kathleen DePietro Covey. ai???We want to showcase student work and what the faculty has done.ai???
The High schoolai??i??s cafeteria will be the ai???showcase room,ai??? where tables will be set up for clubs. In addition, two or three rooms will hold presentations about specific groups or activities. A few presentations will be going on simultaneously. Presentations will be repeated so everyone has a chance to see each one.
Any club has the ability to get involved and show off what they have been working on throughout the year. Certain groups will have thirty to forty minutes to present about their achievements.

Tables can be set up for clubs who want to be involved but do not have any available representatives on Community Day. The setup for community day will take place during the school day, so club members who canai??i??t come on May 7 can set up and participate.
ai???This is an excellent district that should be able to show off what they are doing.ai??? said DePietro Covey.
Community members who participate have the chance to win a Chromebook, as well as other small prizes. Tickets will be entered in Ai??a raffle. One ticket will be given for each presentation watched. Two tickets for the raffle will be given for each time someone presents. Kids can participate by making arts and crafts and are eligible for a ticket for each art project completed.
