Baseball hits the road for the first time vs East Stroudsburg North

After Wednesday’s postponement, Baseball goes for their third straight win

Stroudsburg in the handshake line after their game against Pocono Mountain East on March 19, 2024.

Last Monday, the Stroudsburg baseball team had an impressive comeback win over Easton, 8-7. They had a lot of momentum going into the game against Whitehall on Wednesday, but the game got washed out due to rain and is rescheduled for April 20th at 11:00 am.

The team heads to the road for the first time, taking on East Stroudsburg North at the Cavalier’s home field at 4:00 pm.

The starting pitcher is not determined as of April 2, 2024. P/INF Paulie Maccarrone was scheduled to start on Wednesday against Whitehall but the game was postponed. Another option for Coach Suarez is P/1B Anthony Knight, who would have been scheduled to start this game if the team played against Whitehall.

The starting pitcher might not matter, however, as it is expected to rain throughout the day and during the game which will most likely postpone it to a later date. If this game does get postponed, it would be the third time this season the Mountaineers have gotten postponed due to inclement weather.

MATCHUP: Stroudsburg Mountaineers (2-1) at East Stroudsburg North (0-2)

LOCATION: East Stroudsburg North High School, Bushkill, PA

TIME: 4:00 pm ET

WEATHER FORECAST: 45 degrees, 99% chance of rain
