As of right now, after I graduate High School, I see myself doing…

As of right now, after I graduate High School, I see myself going to college and working to become either a chef or a nurse.

Do you have any hobbies or activities you enjoy?

Some of my hobbies are playing the violin, cooking, playing volleyball, listening to music/singing, and photography.

Do you have a favorite sport? Do you play it too? Why do you like it?

I love volleyball and I play for the school team but would like to do club volleyball as well. It’s the sport that can take my mind off anything and I can just have fun and focus on doing my best. It’s so entertaining to watch and keeps me on the edge of my seat.

What’s your favorite movie (or show)?

My favorite movie is Coraline. It was my favorite movie during my childhood and it’s just stuck with me since. I can watch it over and over again and not get sick of it

Do you have any pets?

I have two dogs named Brooklyn and Kringle. I also have two guinea pigs named Gertrude and Daisy.

How do you think you’ll feel in the High School?

I think it’ll be fun in the high school since there will be new people to meet and places to explore. As long as I get used to the environment, it probably wouldn’t be that different than in the Junior High School.

What is your favorite class at the Junior High School? Why?

My favorite class is orchestra. It’s one of the classes where I can just relax and be myself. The people in it have been around me for years so it’s just a very comfortable environment.

What’s your favorite quote?

“In three words I can sum up everything I’ve learned about life: it goes on.” – Robert Frost. I would say that this quote by Robert Frost is my favorite because it reminds me that things happen in life and people make mistakes. Nothing is the end of the world and anything that happens can be used as a learning experience.

Which places would you like to travel to someday and why?

My dream is to travel the whole world. I don’t really have a preference on where I would go because I love trying new things and gaining new experiences no matter what. Some places I would like to visit would be the Maldives to see the Sea of Stars, Thailand to see the temples, the Philippines for the scenery, and many more.

What is your most fond memory?

Every year, for vacation, my whole family drives up to Black Lake in Hammond, NY, and we spend some time together. I always look forward to it and enjoy hanging out with all of my cousins and family because we don’t get to see each other very often. Every night, we sit around the campfire and just talk about anything recent or old. We swim in the pool, fish, play mini golf, go out on our boat, eat ice cream, and have a good time. I appreciate these moments because we go with my nanny and pop and I know that they don’t have forever so I really cherish these memories.
