Freshman Spotlight on Isabella DeFalco

Isabella+DeFalco+hitting+a+volleyball+up+in+the+air.
Isabella DeFalco hitting a volleyball up in the air.

As of right now, after I graduate High School, I see myself doing…

I see myself becoming a 9th-grade English Teacher and being a hairstylist.

Do you have any hobbies or activities you enjoy?

I play softball and volleyball.

Do you have a favorite sport? Do you play it too? Why do you like it?

My favorite sport is volleyball. I still play it, and I like it because the game is always fun, something is always happening. I also love to dive:))

What’s your favorite movie (or show)?

My favorite movie is Mean Girls.

Do you have any pets?

I have 2 English bulldogs, 1 French Bulldog, and 2 cats. I had another English bulldog, Phoebe, but she died.

How do you think you’ll feel in the High School?

I think I’ll feel fine, it’s going to be a big change, but also the last school I’ll have to move to in Stroudsburg.

What is your favorite class at the Junior High School? Why?

My favorite class is English class with Mr. Wood. This year with him kind of helped me realize that this is the class I want to teach. I specifically like this class because of the Romeo and Juliet unit, it’s always been my favorite play.

What’s your favorite quote?

“Everything happens for a reason”

Which places would you like to travel to someday and why?

I really want to go to Miami one day, maybe even live there. It’s very pretty and I’d want my kids to grow up near a beach since we never did in Pennsylvania.

What is your most fond memory?

I have the best memories mostly from the summer after 7th grade, like going to Hershey Park with my friends Morgan and Jordan, hanging out with a bunch of different people every day, going to the duck pond, and walking to Rita’s with a bunch of different people and lots of other things.
