As of right now, after I graduate High School, I see myself doing…
Something in politics, government, or education.
Do you have any hobbies or activities you enjoy?
I enjoy gaming, riding my bike, swimming, going on hikes, traveling, and staying up-to-date with current events. My favorite thing to do out of all of these is gaming. I play Minecraft as well as games relating to history and politics.
Do you have a favorite sport? Do you play it too? Why do you like it?
I’m not that interested in sports, but I do occasionally play basketball.
What’s your favorite movie (or show)?
One of my favorite movies is Pay it Forward because it’s about a social studies teacher (I really enjoy social studies) who gives an assignment out to a junior high class (and I’m in Junior High). The assignment is to think of an idea to change the world for the better and one student creates a plan to “Pay it Forward”. This particular student has a single mother (just as I do). He also sets in motion a wave of human kindness, which unbeknownst to him, has spread into a national phenomenon. I always said I wanted to make a difference and change the world even though I have Asperger’s.
Do you have any pets?
Yes. I have 2 English bulldogs and 4 cats.
How do you think you’ll feel in the High School?
I think I would feel overwhelmed and have anxiety. But I know there’s teacher/counselor support if needed.
What is your favorite class at the Junior High School? Why?
My favorite class is History. This is because I enjoy learning about the past and why things in the world are the way they are now.
What’s your favorite quote?
“The people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do.” – Steve Jobs
Which places would you like to travel to someday and why?
I would like to travel across the whole continental United States someday, but a few places in particular that I would like to visit would be South Carolina and Boston. These two places are places I haven’t been yet and they are both within driving distance.
What is your most fond memory?
I enjoy looking back at previous years but I would have to say my most fond memory was when I went to Washington DC back in 2022. I saw the White House and the Congressional building and was interviewed by a news station based in Germany.
