Bethlehem is known for its rich and long history. The Historic Hotel Bethlehem was not only the first house in Bethlehem in 1741, but the Golden Eagle House built by the Moravians in 1823. Its deep history comes with a number of ghost stories and paranormal experiences.
Room with a “Boo,” Room 932
Room 932 has had many strange cases reported over the years.
A couple stayed in Room 932 for the night when they awoke to the figure of an older man, standing at the end of their bed. Curiously, the man asked them, “Why are you in my room?” The couple rushed to turn on the lights, but when they did, the man had disappeared!
In April of 2007, Hotel Bethlehem invited a paranormal investigator to stay overnight in the room. The investigator recorded many voices: “It’s Mary,” “What a beautiful bathroom,” “Look out the window.”
Other accounts include guests seeing a reflection in the mirror that vanished seconds later, lamps flashing, papers flying off the desks or standing up straight, and even the bathroom wallpaper turning pink! Room 932 is one of the most requested rooms for thrill seekers who visit the hotel.
