For the fourth straight year in a row, Hunter Probst, ’25, is heading to PIAA State Championship.
Probst helped lead the Mountaineers to a 10-5 record on the season. He has been on his game all season, shooting a 69 on the season.
Probst stated, “I feel accomplished because I worked hard to go back and compete with the best in the state.”
He has been playing golf since he was a child and has been striving to make states all three years ever since he made it in his freshman year.
He feels confident in his match and is happy about the course he is playing on as it favors his game tremendously.
Probst explained, “I’m excited as my training keeps me consistent and is how I get better every time I grab the clubs.”
Probst has a lot of time to prepare for States as the matches start two weeks from today and go for three days at Penn State Golf Course out in State College.
