On Tuesday, Stroudsburg defeated Pleasant Valley to end their regular season.
After Stroudsburg’s little hiccup against Parkland, losing 2-0, they bounced back with an 8-0 win against Pleasant Valley yesterday.
In light of the victory, Stroudsburg has won seven out of their last eight games and has clinched a berth in the District XI 3A playoffs during that stretch.
A key part of the team’s success has been Grace Staples, ’25. Staples leads the team in both goals and shots. Leanna Neri, ’27, has also played a key factor in the success, as she leads the team in goal assists.
This game advances Stroudsburg’s record to 12-6 to end the season and they will be the 5th seed in the District XI 3A playoffs with their opponent not known yet.
