Stroudsburg High School has always had an amazing fan base and a great student section. The section always plans fun themes for the football games. Some of the themes for our football games include hawaiian, white out, black out, USA, neon, camo, pink out, and many more! These themes are created by our Mountie Maniacs.
Our 2024-2025 Mountie Maniacs are Jessica Klein, ’25, and Anthony Knight, ’25. Klein and Knight always are cheering on our Mountaineers and hyping up our student section.
¨I love being known as the group leader in the student section,¨ states Anthony Knight, ’25.
The Mountie Maniacs is a tradition that Stroudsburg has had for many years. As each senior class graduates, the role is passed down to two students of the next graduating class. The previous Mountie Maniacs from 2023-2024 were Ava O’Connor, ’24 and Jack Susinskas, ’24.
“Being a Mountie Maniac is really an experience like no other,¨ expresses Jessica Klein, ’25. ¨I have always looked up to the girls in the front row with their letters since I was a freshman, so not only getting to be a part of of that but leading it, is more than I could ever ask for.¨
- The Mountie Maniacs are always at all the football games. Their job is lead chants and encourage their fellow Mountaineers to motivate the SHS football team as they take on their opponents.
