Congratulations to Mr. Kontos who beat out 13 other competitors in the Mountaineer’s Pumpkin Palooza decorating contest.
Kontos won with whopping 117 votes, grabbing nearly 42 percent of the tally. Kontos’ winning design appears to be one pumpkin eating another. Apparently, the cannibalistic carving spoke to the viewers.
Kontos shared that he had “some encouragement” from his fiance but he assured us that he did all the carving himself.
“I am very surprised to win! I was really interested in just carving pumpkins for Halloween and was just interested in competing in general so I am honored to win the contest.”, said Kontos.
