On October 25, 2024, Stroudsburg held their Homecoming game against Pleasant Valley.
Over the past couple weeks, each class has been working hard at creating a float corresponding to the chosen theme. This year’s theme was 1980s popular movies.
Once all lined up along the sidelines, the winners were announced as follows:
Fourth place was Freshman, ’28 with Hairspray.
Third was Sophomores, ’27 with Back to the Future.
Second was Juniors, ’26 with Ghostbusters.
Celebrating with cheers and screams of triumph, the Senior class, ’25 with Footloose takes its place among the names listed on the Sodl Cup.
For the past four years, the Richard Pierce Builder, Inc. has been the location where the Class of ’25 has utilized the space for the float. Here is where the participants would design, plan, construct, decorate, and rehearse their float for the year.
In their final float this past weekend, the Class of ’25 made a nod towards Pierce by having the characters’ Homecoming Dance take place at the same barn they’d built their float.
¨It has been a long four years, but we finally did it. It feels good to know that the class’ hard work paid off,¨ states Class President Anthony Borrero, ’25. ¨I would like to give the biggest shout-out to Melissa Safin, the float queen, for taking a huge lead and directing our float. I would also like to thank our advisor Ms. Miller, for her dedication and time every single day whether there were other supervisors there or not. IT’S ABOUT DANG TIME!¨
During the halftime of the game, the nominees for Homecoming Queen were brought out onto the field.
The Class of ’25 Homecoming nominees were seniors Cameryn Beebe, Brianna Coykendall, Madison Garcia, Jessica Klein, Janel Meyers, Katelyn Pantinople, Gabrielle Sanchez, Nathalie Rodriguez, and Keilyn Tejeda.
The runner ups were announced as second runner up, Janel Meyers, ’25, and first runner up Madison Garcia, ’25. The Class of ’25 Homecoming Queen was announced to be Camryn Beebe.

She’s earned awards for being a high honor roll and honor roll student. Beebe plans on attending a four year university to play soccer and study criminology and environmental science.
¨ I am forever grateful for being blessed with so many friends and supporters that I love,¨ expresses Camryn Beebe, ’25. ¨Thank you for this opportunity!¨
Congratulations to Beebe, our Homecoming runner ups and nominees, as well as this year’s float winners!
