Model Congress, advised by Matt Haggerty, and Technology Student Association, advised by Matt Rimbey, combined forces to host Game Night at the SJHS on Friday, Nov. 8.
Haggerty explained, ” I like doing this event and coming together with TSA. I think combining the two clubs together helps things run smoothly. It’s a great and safe way for kids to get out and about and parents have two hours for themselves.”
Students from grades 4-7 played games in the gym, played board games in the lobby, or watched a movie in the auditorium.
In the lobby, they had Uno, Ca-tan, Jenga, Wheel of Fortune, and Crazy Eight.
In the gym, they played basketball and volleyball on one side of the gym, and on the other, they had Penguin Ball for the first hour. Then the second hour was Capture the Chicken.
In the auditorium, Inside Out 2 was playing. By the cafeteria, TSA has chips, cookies, and drinks for students to purchase.
