On November 1, Stroudsburg High School hosted a college fair.
The annual fair is meant for juniors and seniors to see potential options for their next step, whether it is higher education or going into the workforce.
Schools such as East Stroudsburg University, Susquehanna University, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Penn State Hazleton, and Ursinus College were all their “pitching” their school to the students.
Other places such as the U.S. Army and St. Luke’s were also present, showing students other opportunities outside of going to college.
The coordinator of the fair and SHS Guidance Counselor Mrs. Onody stated that, “The most important thing for the fair is just exposure. Kids might not have be aware of these options or ideas. So we’re hopefully opening up their minds to things that maybe they haven’t been thinking about yet.”
