Stroudsburg Technology Student Association (TSA) is getting ready for the Region 9 conference on Jan. 25 at Stroudsburg Junior High. Schools from all over northeastern Pennsylvania will compete in more than 30 events.
Since Stroudsburg is hosting this event, TSA members are required to help set up the night before. During the conference, there will be special interest sessions planned by the Region 9 subcommittee of the student-run Regional Representative Committee. These sessions include topics like how to get more involved in TSA, ways to help your chapter, and how to set up game rooms for students when they are not doing an event.
This year, Stroudsburg TSA has more members than last year, and the officer team is working hard to make it a great season. Here’s the current officer lineup:
- President: Peter Leyba, ’25
- Vice President: Alexander Franolich, ’25
- Secretary: Tanya Sathapornwongkul, ’26
- Treasurer: Mackenzie Dalton, ’25
- Sergeant-at-Arms: Liam Munian, ’26
- Reporter: (Still undecided)
Secretary Tanya Sathapornwongkul, ’26, says, “Their goal this year is to help as many people qualify for states, which is held at Seven Springs Mountain Resort in Pittsburgh, and then hopefully Nationals, which is being held at Gaylord Opryland, Nashville, TN this year.”
It’s going to be a busy but exciting season for Stroudsburg TSA!
