The Stroudsburg Varsity Boys’ Basketball team drops its fourth straight game by a score of 67-27 to Pocono Mountain West on January 13.
The Panthers were red hot straight out of the gate, but Stroudsburg kept it close until the end of the first quarter with a score of 18-9.
In the second quarter, West started to pull away going on a 21-3 run to end the quarter with a score of 39-14.
Out of the half Stroudsburg couldn’t get anything going and it stayed that way as the West offense was flying around the court and grabbing all the rebounds. By the end of the third quarter, the game was out of reach with the score being 58-21. All of this lead to our final score of 67-27.
Despite the team’s 2-15 record, spirits are high for the rest of the season and for the future of the team. Stroudsburg’s next game is against the Freedom Patriots on January 16.
