While the board meetings have died down in activity since the last update, a few new additions are on the horizon.
Two new courses were approved by the board, those being Minority Voices in America and Principles of Engineering.
Minority Voices of America strives to explore the works of various minority writers throughout history.
The Principles of Engineering course explores the ways in which modern engineers improve our lives. In addition, they will learn to use a few of the tools that the aforementioned engineers utilize.
There were also three finalized retirements at the board meeting. The French teacher and NHS advisor, Mrs. Verwey, and English teacher, Mrs. Griswold, are both retiring at the end of the school year.
