Tonight, the red-hot girls’ basketball team takes on Pocono Mountain West to close out their 2024-25 regular season action.
The girls won 10 consecutive games, with their most recent win on Saturday against Bangor, 56-40.
A couple of weeks ago, the girls clinched a spot in the playoffs and currently sit in the sixth seed in the District XI 6A standings.
They have dominated the last couple of games, winning their games last week by an average score of 25.5 points. This includes their dominating win last Thursday against Pleasant Valley, winning by 49 points.
This is a rematch of an earlier season matchup between Stroudsburg and Pocono Mountain West where the Lady Mounties won by 39 points at home.
By the end of the night, the girls will know who they will play in the District XI 6A playoffs as they look to climb the rankings in their last game of the regular season.
