“I feel that the team will get what they give. The results they get next year will be dictated by the amount of practice they put in and the progress they make.”
Despite the losses, the future looks bright for Stroudsburg, which expects to return a strong senior class next season. The team could have as many as eight returning seniors, including Arda Gocuklu, Cyrille Gonzales, Joshua Marosi, Bryan N’Diaye, Dylan Payne, Keshav Persaud, Tobias Ricks, and Dhyey Savaliya.
This season marked a step forward for the program. The Mounties not only improved on last year’s record but also made strides in all areas of the game. A highlight of the season came when Stroudsburg defeated Freedom High School, the number 4 ranked team in District 11—a sign that the Mountaineers are headed in the right direction.
