Art Club students create original works for various venues

ai???Art club is a very unique and great place to express your inner artist,ai??? said junior Victor Albino. Ai??In this creative environment, students use their skills to draw, paint, and craft masterpieces.
Approximately 45 students attend the meetings on a regular basis, where theyAi??create art projects and artwork for events and they contribute pieces to the annual Art Show. The Art Show is held at Stroudsburg High School and takes place near the end of the school year.
Last year, members of the Art Club made bird feeders for the Pocono Wildlife Rehabilitation Center and contributed pieces to the annual Craftfest. Craftfest is run by SAMS (Stroudsburg Area Music Supports) where crafters sell handmade crafts during Musicfest. Ai??This year, they are planning to participate in more charity events.
Ms. Anna Baughman and Ms. Leah McKain are co-advisers for the club. ai???Mrs. Baughman and I both run it so itai??i??s nice to have fresh ideas every meeting,” said McKain.
The Art Club meets in F110 every second and fourth Monday of every month.
