Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is a club that helps prepare students for many careers in both business and other areas.

Students can develop a variety of skills through their work with FBLA. They can improve confidence, communication skills, and leadership skills. FBLA also offers numerous educational programs.

Both students and advisers enjoy the thrill of FBLA.

“I enjoy being the FBLA adviser because I get the opportunity to meet many of the outstanding Stroudsburg students that I don’t have in class, and I get to see the excitement of students when they advance at each level of competition,” said FBLA adviser Ms. Kathy Sickler.

“I get to see another side of the students,” said another FBLA adviser Ms. Jodie Haggerty. “FBLA also looks good for students when they are applying to jobs and/or colleges.”

Another great feature about FBLA is that the students get to travel to interesting destinations to compete. Their first competition will be held on December 3, 2018, and it will be held at Camelback Mountain Resort. 

Some examples of what will be taking place are Business Ethics, Broadcast Journalism, Client Service, Emerging Business Issues,  Future Business Leader, etc.

Two big competitions this year will be held at Camelback Mountain Resort and in Hershey, PA.
