At which school in the district do you teach?

I work at the Stroudsburg the junior high.

What subject do you teach? 

I teach PreAlgebra 9/6 and 6/6, Algebra 2 H.

 What grades do you teach? 

I teach 8th and 9th grade.

How long have you been teaching at SASD?

This is my 21st year in Stroudsburg.

If you could teach another subject what would it be and why? 

 I would not be interested in teaching another subject….math is the best one for me!!!

 What do you find most surprising about your job?

The most surprising thing about my job is the number of extra duties and responsibilities teachers have beyond teaching.

 How and when did you know that teaching was what you wanted to do?

I knew that I wanted to be a teacher when I volunteered in a hearing-impaired classroom during the time I was taking a sign language class.

 If you could have one superpower what would it be and why?

My superpower would be the ability to read students’ minds. That way I would know how to assist students or know when they really needed help. Too many students are afraid of looking “stupid” y asking for help.
