Art Classes offer students unique opportunities to be creative

Noah Barro, Staff Writer

Everyone has a way to express themselves. One way people choose to do this is through art, whether it’s sculpting, painting, or drawing. SHS students enrolled in Art Major classes are expressing themselves through painting.

The Art class’s previous project was to create a Cubism art piece. Cubism was most popular in the early 20th-century in paintings. It was a popular art style but also a movement. Cubism was a revolutionary way to approach representing reality. It was also a way to show an object at different angles in one frame.

If one is interested in learning about different types of Art, they should talk to your guidance counselor about enrolling in the Art Major electives SHS has to offer.
