Stroudsburg Boys’ Soccer team snaps 5 game losing streak to the rival South team. Stroudsburg wins by a final score of 2-1.
By the end of the first half, the Mountaineers were down 1-0, a repeat of the past five games.
However, the Stroudsburg offense finally woke up in the second half with John Casey, ‘25, and Jacob Bajek, ‘25, both netting goals to give Stroudsburg the lead.
The defense for the Mountaineers was elite in the second half, stifling the Cavaliers attack. This led to a 2-1 victory for Stroudsburg.
Their record now goes to 5-10 on the season with three games remaining.

We have not gone down by 1-0 the past five games, we actually scored first against freedom. Which was only the third goal that has been scored on them this year. So maybe instead of being so negative you should write some more about what we have been able to accomplish.

The facts are the facts. If you don’t like the facts, then you should have played better. That simple.
