The popular emo/alternative rock band, My Chemical Romance, has recently announced an extension to their world tour honoring their 3rd studio album, “The Black Parade.” The North American leg of their “Long Live the Black Parade” tour concluded a few weeks ago on September 13, 2025. With this being the band’s second tour since their breakup in 2013, fans are ecstatic over the news.
“I love their music and I am glad they can have a longer celebration of the art that they have created,” says Emma Wright, ’28
While the band already had upcoming tour dates in Europe, their latest announcement expanded their tour of Europe while adding South American and Southeast Asian branches of the tour. Additionally, a new round of North American shows were announced to start in August of 2026.
The North American leg of their “Long Live the Black Parade” tour was the band’s first stadium tour with dates in places such as Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles and MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. My Chemical Romance seems to be keeping up with this trend as their newly announced North American shows are centered around different stadiums, including Citi Field in Queens.
Many fans are ecstatic for the opportunity to see their favorite band again, but there is a catch. Ticketmaster’s dynamic pricing is making it difficult for listeners to afford tickets to the concerts. As of October 10, 2025, the cheapest tickets to see My Chemical Romance at Citi Field in Queens are $200.75.
While many fans will be willing to pay this price, tickets will once again be unattainable for many.
