Beloved rapper Juice Wrld has unfortunately passed away at the young age of 21 after having a seizure in a Chicago Airport.

Juice Wrld, real name Jared Higgins, rose to fame in the summer of 2018 with his hit songs “Lucid Dreams” which helped gain him a huge following.

Wrld kept up with his music by proving to be no one-hit wonder by releasing albums Goodbye & Good Riddance, a joint album with fellow rapper Future “Wrld on Drugs” and his final album before his death Death Race For Love.

The famous rapper’s music touched and inspired a lot of people, and a huge percentage of his fans were teens.  Many SHS students were upset about losing Wrld.

“It’s crazy how we keep losing young artists.” said junior Brendyn Lechene. “He really helped me through some painful times.”

Personally I enjoyed listening to all of his music and appreciated his style. Some of my favorite songs from him are “Lean wit me”,  “All girls are the same”,  “Graduation”,  “Bandit”,  “I’ll be fine” , and “Wasted.”

Juice Wrld was one of few musicians that I could really feel the passion in his art and relate to. He’s just another young talented soul who left us way too soon.

Rest In Paradise Juice, 999 Forever.
