Name and class:
Savana Arroyo, Class of 2026
Favorite subject and/or teacher?
My favorite subject is Math, and my favorite teachers are Mr. Carter, Mr. Hibell, and Mrs. Barro.
Where are you from?
Originally from New York, I moved to PA here halfway through 1st grade.
How would you describe yourself?
I describe myself as a very guarded and closed-off person, but as soon as I warm up to someone, I can be pretty nice.
What’s your favorite part of being a student at Stroudsburg?
The more creative dress downs like your favorite character because you know there’s gonna be someone with a bald cap on. Although it’s a shame we’re to the point where we have to fill out Google forms for stuff like that, and the fact that our individuality in the form of profile pictures were taken away.
Something most people don’t know about you:
I don’t hate most people, and I’m not that mean! I just have a resting B face and try to get through my day as fast as possible. I also have very selective hearing and zone out a decent amount of times, so it’s common for me not to know when someone’s talking to me.
What is a passion of yours? (e.g. fitness, volunteer art, learning)
Flying in the sky in either a helicopter or a plane.
Best advice you’ve given or received:
The best advice I’ve ever received was from an old coworker/friend, “Your bad days are just someone else’s good days. Don’t let the day consume you, let yourself feel good that someone else is having a great day”.- Brian Molt.
What made you who you are?
Lies, heartbreak, loss that turned into honesty, self-improvement, independence, and coping.
Have you traveled? Where to?
Puerto Rico, got a tattoo on my last day. It had great food, plenty of entertainment, lovely beaches, and lots of hot people.
