TSA focused on another successful year

Club members travel to Kentucky to compete in the National TSA Conference

Eric Card III, Staff Writer

Traveling, teamwork, problem-solving, and lots of fun is the best way to describe TSA.

TSA stands for Technology Student Association. This club was created to develop and enlarge one’s knowledge in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and business.

In TSA, members compete in events as solo or in groups against TSA clubs from other schools. Participants have the opportunity to compete in a variety of events from coding to robotics — and everything in between.

Mr. Kirk George has been involved with TSA for 15 years, and he has been the adviser for the past eight.

“Just about anything you want to do you can find an event in TSA you’d be happy doing,” said George.

Through Kirk’s involvement, TSA members have consistently qualified for students in the national conference. They have traveled to Orlando, Dallas, and Nashville, and this year they will travel to Kentucky.

Students interested in learning more about TSA should email Mr. George ([email protected]).
