Members of the Interact club joined forces with the Stroudsburg Rotary club to help with the bi-annual local roadside cleanup.

Eight students rolled out of bed early after Homecoming to help out with the 8:00 a.m. clean-up on and near the Route 80 ramp into Stroudsburg.

“Thank you Interact kids who made up half the group; a job well done,” said Stroudsburg Rotarian Gene Prospero.

Interact club president Hannah Helm expressed her feelings about the event.

“It was great to make a contribution to the local community,” Helm said.

Adviser Ms. Moira Loughman shared why the clean-up was a fitting activity for Interact.

“These students fulfilled the Rotary and Interact mission of “service above self.”
