Principal Sodl celebrated a birthday over the weekend and The Mountaineer would like to wish him a Happy Belated Birthday! Principal Sodl is a huge Pitt fan and a Steelers fan (some.say secretly a Penn State fan). But, did you know he has a pet pig named Hamilton? The family calls him Hammy for short. They acquired him years ago after a Kiss the Pig contest here at SHS when a temporary fostering situation became Hammy’s permanent home.

Principal Sodl has a serious side, but he also has a great sense of humor as we’ve seen in his performance of “The Twelve Days of Christmas” at the annual holiday show.
