The end is near when SHS maintenance crews line hallways with green garbage bins. That signals locker clean-out time.

May is a busy month and jammed with activities. Here’s what’s happening:

  • The Senior Walk is this Friday, May 24.
  • Senior Chromebook returns start on May 28, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.  Morning announcements will call certain groups each day, so listen up. Cap and Gown pick-up also begins on May 28.
  • Moving Up Day is Friday, May 31. Seniors will be called to the gym at 7:30 a.m. and juniors will be called to the gym at 9 a.m. They will practice together at 11:30 a.m.
  • The gymnasium will be closed from now until graduation.
  • Half days begin on June 4 with an early dismissal scheduled for 10:55 a.m.
  • The last day of school for students and teachers is June 6.
  • Senior Breakfast is scheduled for June 7 at 7:15 a.m. in the cafeteria, followed by graduation practice at 8 a.m.  Seniors report back to the cafeteria at 6:30 p.m. for safety searches, then move to the gym for a final attendance check and line up for the procession to the stadium.
