On Tuesday, September 24, the Mountaineers steamrolled past Pocono Mountain West 8-0 on their senior night.
Cameron Brancato, ’25, Breyona Velez, ’25, Haley Dreisbach, ’25, Grace Coyne, ’26, and Alexis Shallop, ’26 each scored a goal. While Grace Staples, ’25, scored two goals on her senior night celebration.
Assists came from Leanna Neri, ’27, Sophia Craig, ’26, Alexis Shallop, ’26, and Charlotte Kish, ’26.
Stroudsburg’s defense shut out West, earning their fifth shutout of the season.
So far this season, the top scorers are Haley Dreisbach, ’25, Cailin Mignosi, ’26, Leanna Neri, ’27, and Grace Staples, ’25.
The girls move on to a 7-5 record with six games left in the season. This marks a two-game win streak that they are looking to build upon as the season comes to an end.
