Donald Trump wins the presidency of the United States of America.
After losing in 2020 to Joe Biden, Trump defeats Kamala Harris this time around to win the election.
In what has been a wild four years in between terms for Trump, from the January 6th riot, to the mugshot, to being convicted of 34 felonies, to almost being assassinated, to now again President of the United States.
He becomes the second President to have non-consecutive two terms, as Grover Cleveland did as the 22nd and 24th President of the United States.
He dominates in the swing states of Pennsylvania, Georgia, Wisconsin and North Carolina en route to the victory. He also wins his first popular vote out of his three campaigns.
Trump will have control of the Senate and potentially control of the House of Representatives which could let him get a lot of things done during this term.
He is joined by J.D. Vance, his Vice President selection. Vance was selected to be Trump’s running mate on July 15 and will become the first Vice President from the state of Ohio. Vance was the Senator of Ohio before joining Trump on the campaign trail.
Other advisors to the President are expected to include Elon Musk, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and Tulsi Gabbard. Musk is the owner of Tesla and now the social media platform X. Kennedy Jr. was in the race to run for President as an Independent candidate but dropped out to help Trump.
Donald Trump will also become the first President to have two different Vice Presidents for two different terms without one of the VPs dealing with death or illness. Mike Pence did not endorse his former running mate in the 2024 election.
There have been a lot of rumors about whether Trump will enact the blueprint of the second term, more commonly known as Project 2025, or will use Agenda 47. Both include the same type of wordage and language of what his second term would look like. The economy and Immigration were seen as key issues that voters swayed to Trump and his administration on and now look for them to deliver on it.
Trump will begin his second term starting on January 20, 2025, Inauguration Day.
